Ace Hood

Ohio University will be having the national recording artist Ace Hood. The concert will be opened by a local artist by the name of Terry Robinson. Terry is an Ohio University student and performs on campus at various events, such as,  open mic nights and Apollo Night. The DJ tonight will be Brandon Chestnut, arguably the best DJ on campus. The tickets tonight are only $7 and their will be no chairs so it will be a party on a Tuesday! OU style! Who knows if you go to this performance you may wake up in a new bugatti.

Angela Yvonne Davis

In light of the documentary starring produced by Jada Pinkett Smith coming out April 5^th, this week it’s all about Ms. Angela Davis! Born January 26, 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama, Davis is a political activist, author and scholar. She came onto the scene as a major radical figure in as a leader of the Communist Party in the USA in the 1960’s. In 1970 she was incarcerated on charges for her involvement with three prison inmates. Though she never became an official member of the party, Davis was also in close relation with The Black Panther Party along with her involvement in the Civil Rights Movement. Prisoner and feminist rights along with the rights of black Americans have been her areas of focus in political advocacy as well as her lectures in academia. Angela Davis is currently a professor at University of California-Santa Cruz.

Back to the Grind for Rapper Lil Wayne

            It looks like Weezy is back to work this week. Mediatakeout reported he was on set with Future filming the song “Karate Chop.”

            If you remember, it was reported last week that the rapper was rushed to the hospital for multiple seizures. He stayed there to recover a few days and is apparently doing 100% better. He has announced going on tour this summer and his album “I am not a Human Being II” drops today!

            There are not too many official reports of what happened. What do you all think about Wayne’s recent health conditions? Was it the drugs?

Soon to be Former Real Housewife of Atlanta?

Mediatakeout is reporting that Kordell Stewart, husband of Portia from Real Housewives of Atlanta, has filed for divorce on Friday.

The file for divorce is allegedly due to the show. Kordell is unhappy with the way each of their images are being presented; he did not want Porsha to take part in the next season because of this. Initially, Porsha agreed but it seems that she went behind his back and started negotiating for the following season.

An insider also told Mediatakeout that the marriage still may be saved if Porsha agrees to quit the show. This comes after claims of Kordell being controlling a few episodes ago.
